Hairless Guinea Pigs
Margaret's Hairless Pigs Caviary
Margaret Majchrowicz
Welcome to Margaret's Hairless Pigs Caviary!!
I specialize in Hairless Guinea Pigs(Cavies) known as Skinny pigs or Skinnies and
Baldwin’s in a variety of colors. I have been raising Skinny pigs for almost seven
years and Baldwins for about 5 years. I fell in love with Skinny pigs a few years
ago after my friend bought one for herself from Petco. He is a boar and his name
is BoobieBobbert (Boobie for short) that we loved dearly but unfortunately he is
no longer with us today.
I have purchased most of my Skinny pig herd from a former breeder named
Walter Nash from The Hairless Hutch that bred them for several years to haired
guinea pigs for hardiness and back to Skinnies. He has been working extremely
hard to get them recognized and become a much stronger hardier breed that they
are today.
I have followed in his foot steps and I am raising healthy hardy hairless guinea pigs
of my own. I am also raising Baldwins that I have purchased from Jean Scarlett
also a former cavy breeder of American, American Satin and Baldwins. I have also
acquired some hardy Baldwins from Carol Miller the originator of them. We are a
registered member of the ACBA and ARBA with our caviary name Margaret's
Hairless Pigs.
We breed for health, temperaments, and improvement of our cavies. They are
raised with love and with great care in a holistic manner. I am working to
continuously improve them in the long run.

Note: We were very exited to have our hairless guinea pig pictures
in a Rodent Magazine in Europe called Rodentia, but we were told
that they have said such horrible things about hairless guinea pigs
in this magazine and we had wished that we have never provided
our pictures for this magazine. They are misinformed and know
nothing about hairless guinea pigs.
It was out in July 2006 and you can take a look at our cavies in their
magazine or you can take a look at this article below:
